
Rather than go through a tabbed interface, another early build of
Windows Mobile 6.5 now shows off the platform's commitment to being more finger friendly, replacing tiny tabs with a flick and scroll area to shift between menus and screens. This is evident in the screenshot below. On the right, the refined "About" menu under Settings shows a strip towards the top that users can flick between. On the left, the tabbed menu of 6.1 of yore.
While Microsoft still needs some time to spruce up the user interface aesthetically, the move will be welcomed for many on the
Windows Mobile Professional platform who despise using the stylus.
