Unknown Actor Lands Twilight: Eclipse Role

The Risky Biz Blog is reporting that unknown Australian actor Xavier Samuel has landed the first new role in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third installment in the franchise coming to theaters June 30, 2010.
Summit Entertainment has hired the actor to play the role of a "newborn vampire" named Riley, a good-looking college student who joins the plot of villain Victoria to murder protagonist Bella (Kristen Stewart). Riley is corrupted by Victoria, for whom he has an inexplicable weakness.
In related news, the Los Angeles Times has posted this new photo from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, opening November 20.
