E3 2010 Is Going To Be Big

245 companies now confirmed for the show.

May 6, 2010 - E3 2010 is expected to be one of the biggest shows in its history.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), who owns and operates the E3 expo, cited strong exhibitor registration and "robust" attendee registration early on for this year's show.

"With groundbreaking announcements expected from computer and video game publishers and developers, this year's E3 Expo is going to be the main event for the entertainment industry in 2010," said Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of the ESA in a statement. "Major retailers, investor analyst firms, and media from the United States and over 60 countries are already committed to attending."

The ESA's Dan Hewitt, director of communications, told IGN the number of exhibitors confirmed for the show so far has reached 245 in total. Hewitt said he expects that number to grow before the show begins next month. The most updated list of companies attending can be seen on the official E3 website.

IGN will of course be there covering the entire event. We've even compiled a list of the big games confirmed for the show so far. And be sure to bookmark IGN's E3 2010 destination to get the latest news and game impressions.

E3 2010 runs from June 15-17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Those interested in attending can head on over to the official E3 registration page.
