EA expect stopgap before next generation.
UK, August 28, 2009 - An intermediate generation of consoles will come before we see the PS4 and Xbox 720, as the console makers have expired their resources in their efforts in the current generation of consoles.

Such an opinion would chime with the current climate, with Sony recently launching a new PS3 in the shape of the Slim and Microsoft citing the release of Natal late next year as a re-launch for the Xbox 360.
