Jay-Z appeared at Kanye West's "Glow in the Dark" concert in Madison Square Garden last night, setting rumors in motion about The Blueprint 3, his eleventh and final album for Def Jam. The rapper ripped into a song called "Jockin' Jay-Z," which West produced in hopes of making the final cut.
"Kanye (also) just brought him a new beat called 'Brooklyn,'" Memphis Bleek, Jigga man's longtime friend and collaborator, told Billboard.com. "You know Jay though, he's always changing his mind. It's going to be a masterpiece though. Kanye gave him some beats where I told Jay that I'm hating on him for having them. The beats are like new rhythms with old drums. Just picture Jay-Z having four records like 'Encore.'"
No prospective release date has been revealed for Jay-Z's new record. Once it's out, though, he'll switch to Live Nation as part of a deal he inked this spring.
