Report says Microsoft held talks with television host.

April 12, 2010 - While it was announced this morning that former Late Night host Conan O'Brien will be making his return to television on TBS, he may have been close to appearing on Microsoft's gaming console.
Deadline.com says Microsoft held talks with Conan O'Brien's team about the possibility of hosting his new show for its Xbox 360 platform, presumably on Xbox Live.
"There were discussions with Microsoft about an Xbox deal for Conan's show that would have broken new ground," the website reports.
The report is unclear just how close Microsoft was to landing O'Brien. A Microsoft spokesperson was unable to offer clarification, telling IGN the company does not comment on rumor or speculation.
