Last week, it was confirmed that director Ivan Reitman would be returning to helm Ghostbusters 3. And as of right now, the principle cast members including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson all seem game to return. Here's an interesting tid-bit about the new movie. Could the long gestating sequel be shot in... 3D?So says the Market Saw blog. The website says, "I have word from one of my top sources that a friend of his at a certain well known effects house (I can't say who it is, but their initials are ILM) said that Ghostbusters 3 is proceeding as planned - but - with the added benefit of stereoscopic 3D!"
Consider this a rumor until we hear confirmation, but what do you guys think about the idea of a 3D Ghostbusters movie?
Writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky are currently working on the second draft of the script.
