has confirmed to
MTV that
Charlize Theron will return alongside Will Smith for
Hancock 2. If you haven't watched the first
film, what follows is a
spoiler!
The big reveal in the first film is that Smith and Theron's characters are immortal gods who become vulnerable when near each other. Berg added that for the sequel we can expect the appearance of at least one more all-powerful god, but he won't reveal who will play the role.
"We have [someone in mind]," Berg said. "I'm not gonna tell you who, but we have!"

Pictures has not yet set a release date for the film.
