Whilst stating that he acknowledges that PC gamers own computers that are much more powerful in comparison to what the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are capable of achieving, Pachter states “The PS3 is a pretty powerful box, and it is probably more powerful than 90% of PC’s out there. The 360 is probably more powerful than 85% of PC’s out there.”
He goes on to discuss that whilst there are a billion PC’s out there, there definitely aren’t a billion PC gamers with players now looking to other control methods, shown by the evident success of the Nintendo Wii, to enjoy video game titles.
