Tom Cruise Will Accept Mission: Impossible IV a Bit Later

Paramount Pictures has taken Mission: Impossible IV out of the summer of 2011 and moved it to December 16, 2011. Previously scheduled for a May 27, 2011 release, the movie will now face Fox's Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D on Dec. 16.

Paramount has also announced it will release the J.J. Abrams-directed Super 8 in summer 2011. The "secret" Steven Spielberg-produced film has a teaser trailer that debuts in theaters with Iron Man 2.

Written by Abrams, Super 8 will start shooting this fall.
