December 16, 2009 - Early in the month Ubisoft announced that they would be filling in the missing memories from Assassin's Creed II through downloadable content. The two episodes are called Battle of Forli which is scheduled to be released in January of 2010 and Bonfire of the Vanities which will land in February.
The Battle of Forli (or sequence 12) will cost $3.99 and has Ezio defending the town of Forli from the Orsi Brothers. There are six new memories and Leonardo's flying machine makes a return allowing players to fly it across Romagna. Ezio is joined by Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza to protect a Piece of Eden from the Templars.

Bonfire of the Vanities (sequence 13) will cost $4.99 and includes 10 memories. This segment of the story will also include Machiavelli and take place in Florence. Ezio is tasked with rescuing the city from the monk Savonarola through a slew of assassinations and a new move called the spring-jump.
Each piece of content requires at least a gig of memory to finish the story
