Student Busted Trying To Sell Coke at Westlake High School

Westlake, OH - A teenage girl was arrested at Westlake High School after trying to sell drugs to her fellow classmates.
The student taken into custody without incident yesterday morning.
The fifteen-year-old busted after offering to sell what she believed to be cocaine to fellow students. All of them refused the offer, and one of those students reported the incident to a teacher.
The suspect student was questioned by Westlake PD's school resource officer and found to be in possession of approximately one gram of a controlled substance. The other students that were reportedly approached were interviewed and confirmed that the suspect offered to sell it.
Preliminary tests of that substance indicate that it may be a mixture of cocaine and other controlled substance(s).
Specific charges will be filed once the final test results are received. The investigation is ongoing.
